Disillusion

the seeds have long been sown
and now the fields are overgrown
filled up to overflowin’
with disillusion

the world just holds it’s course
like a rider rides his horse
still riding to the source
of disillusion

(bridge)
why, can’t we see
what we’ve already done
it’s not too late to change
who’s gonna be the one?

the hungry want to eat
you can hear their marching feet
marching to the beat
of disillusion

people hiding in plain sight
trying to make a wrong a right
they will never dim the light
of disillusion
